FIFTY-TWO. A LONG-TERM PROJECT.
Arranging and photographing one stilllife each week. One year long. Whereever I go. Whatever may happen. Capturing thoughts, things, ideas and visions by doing so. Sharing it. Weekly. Enjoying the process. Being aware.
52 is a project about a curious mind and its constant stroll. It is fuelled by the deep desire to never stop discovering, to keep on wondering and wants to share this concept with others. The project believes in the power and joy of visual storytelling as a collective source of inspiration and communication and wants to start a dialogue. In between creators and observers, in between objects and people, in between us as individuums and the space that surrounds us.
The idea behind 52 is simple, yet challenging, asking for a continuous development. It can be described as a personal journey, a steady dare with the aim to appreciate and discover every single week of the year more attentively. By doing so it embraces the whole year in a more vigilant way. Visually and with words. The projects outcome are 52 different images and short texts, that create a dense and extremly vivid collection of images, thoughts and experiences that want to get its spectator involved and inspired.
